FIRE SAFETY INTEGRATION & PLANNING

Comprehensive compliance planning, audits, and life safety system coordination for your facility.

Fire Safety Plans

Ontario Fire Code requires approved Fire Safety Plans for most commercial and multi-unit buildings. H2O develops comprehensive, authority-approved plans covering emergency procedures, occupant roles, evacuation routes, and staff training requirements.

Compliance Audits

Every Fire Safety Integration engagement begins with a full compliance audit conducted by a qualified engineer. We assess your building's existing fire protection systems against current Ontario Fire Code requirements, identify gaps, and deliver a prioritized remediation report. Our engineer-led audits provide the documentation authority having jurisdiction (AHJ) expects — and give building owners a clear, defensible compliance record.

S1001 Integrated Systems Testing

ULC S1001 is the standard for integrated systems testing — the process that verifies all life safety systems in a building work together as one. Fire alarms, sprinklers, suppression, emergency lighting, and electrical must not only function individually but respond correctly to each other under fire conditions.

H2O's certified technicians conduct full S1001 integrated systems tests and provide the verification documentation required for building permits, occupancy approvals, and authority having jurisdiction sign-off. For complex buildings or major retrofits, S1001 testing is not optional — and having a team that understands every system in the building is the difference between a smooth sign-off and a costly delay.

Staff Training & Emergency Procedures

We train your designated supervisory staff on fire safety duties, evacuation procedures, and the obligations assigned to them under your Fire Safety Plan.
